When Dave founded FSET in 1999, his mission was clear: to make a significant impact on the world through innovative technology. Dave guides FSET to continually push boundaries and explore new possibilities, delivering the best solutions for clients across both public and private sectors.
With more than 20 years of experience in law enforcement information technology, Dave spent more than a decade as a member of the Ontario Police Technology and Information Cooperative (OPTIC) Security Committee and was one of the founding members of its Mobility Committee. As a trusted industry leader, he has also worked closely to create and curate new IT policy and infrastructure at the national level, enhancing the provision of law enforcement for the entire country. Dave leads FSET to push boundaries and explore new possibilities to provide the best solutions for clients in both the public and private sectors.
As the Chief Information Officer at FSET, Al ensures the company stays up to date with technological advancements. Since joining FSET in January 2006, Al has been instrumental in developing and integrating innovative policies and procedures.
With over 15 years of experience as a system administrator, including over a decade in a secure police environment, Al specializes in law enforcement information technology (LEIT). Al applies real-world knowledge and progressive thinking to help push Policing IT into more virtual infrastructure. Alongside colleagues, Al helped to develop and patent the Private Community Cloud for Law Enforcement (PCCLE) environment.
Born and raised in Kenora, Ontario, Al now lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with his wife and son. Al spends his leisure time on the golf course and contributes to the community by coaching hockey.
As FSET’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Travis showcases a blend of leadership and technical expertise, driving the company’s research and development initiatives.
Since joining FSET in 2011 in the Field Services department, Travis has navigated from handling basic hardware installations to executing complex deployments. His commitment to keeping up with technology as it advances allows him to develop solutions for cloud transitions and decentralization, ensuring technology is functional and easy to integrate.
With over a decade of experience in virtualization and cloud-based computing, Travis delivers IT support across healthcare, education, and law enforcement sectors. Among his notable achievements are helping to patent the Private Community Cloud for Law Enforcement (PCCLE) and developing the innovative MobilityFirst® application.
Born in Kenora, Ontario, and now residing in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Travis enjoys bowhunting and spending time with his family and pets.
Guillaume brings over 17 years of experience supporting law enforcement operations and a deep commitment to public service.
A CISSP-certified professional, Guillaume joined FSET in 2024 after relocating to Emo, Ontario just outside his hometown of Fort Frances, following more than two decades in Ottawa working within the public sector.
At FSET, Guillaume oversees the IT Security Program and maintains the company’s ISO certification, while contributing across a wide range of functions due to the security implications inherent in all aspects of a managed service provider.
Passionate about cybersecurity and learning, he is always eager to engage in discussions on the topic and continues to drive improvements in cyber resilience across all FSET clients.
As the Sales & Service Manager for FSET, Jason features with professional duality, simultaneously handling the procurement and delivery of hardware in the field alongside management of the tech team. Whether it’s internally or externally, Jason nurtures relationships and tempers coaction to see success through to the end of the day.
Jason first joined FSET in 2018 to look after sales and procurement, but with his proclivity for securing deals and his ability to successfully connect vendors with clients, it didn’t take him long to join the company’s managerial ranks. Since 2021, Jason has been supervising the FSET’s team of technicians, which he saw as an opportunity to share his work philosophy and teach others about his proactive approach to service delivery. In both roles combined, Jason synthesizes and sees most orders through from start to finish, ranging from research and requisition to installation and invoices.
